Directions to the Trails/Programming/Events
We have 3 different trail heads and programming areas at the Norma Johnson Center. To lessen the confusion, the following directions will get you to the specific area you are looking for when coming to the NJC. All direction points come from Dover, Ohio heading west towards Sugarcreek, Ohio on State Route 39. We have also provided GPS coordinates for each location.

Preservation Loop
The Preservation Loop trailhead is located at the NJC’s main entrance.  It 
 is located 3 miles west of I-77 Dover Exit and approximately 6 miles east of Sugarcreek on State Route 39. The following address will get you close to our location: 
3976 SR 39 NW Dover, OH 44622  Present at this location is the Yellow Pole barn, which houses our maintenance area and summer craft programs.

Conservation Loop
The Conservation Loop trail head is located off of County Road 139 (Old SR 39) at the end of Conservation Drive. Please use the address given for the Preservation Loop location and follow the detailed instructions listed here. Heading west on State Route 39 pass the main entrance (Preservation Loop) and turn right onto CR 139 which is first road to right. Conservation Drive will be the first road to right on CR 139.  This drive will dead end into our parking lot. The Conservation Loop offers trails, picnic shelter, restrooms and red barn and various programs.  The red barn and picnic shelter can be reserved for special events.  Please contact the office for details.

Johnson Loop
The trailhead for the Johnson Loop trails is located on Hidden Hollow Lane. Please follow the directions to the Preservation Loop location and follow the detailed instructions listed here:  Heading west on SR 39 passing the Preservation Loop turn off take the second left onto Hidden Hollow Lane. Parking space is available along Hidden Hollow Lane next to the kiosk.

Brandywine Center (BWC)
The Brandywine Center is located just past Conservation Drive on County Road 139 (Old SR 39).  It is the first building on the left when heading west. It is an old grange building which also provides a shelter house on site. The building and shelter can be used by calling the Tuscarawas SWCD office at 330.339.7976 to reserve your date.  A BWC rental agreement must be signed before use.  The rental agreement is located on the “Points of Interest page” on this site or can be picked up at our office on85 East  Iron Avenue  Dover, OH 44622.
